Singapore and South Korea Launch AI Alliance with $300 Million Global Fund

Singapore and South Korea have officially launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) alliance, aiming to strengthen collaboration and innovation in AI technology. The announcement came on Monday during the Korea-Singapore AI Connect Summit in Singapore, where South Korean President Lee Jae Myung unveiled plans for a US$300 million (S$382 million) global AI fund to be established in Singapore by 2030.


A Landmark Collaboration in AI

The AI alliance brings together experts, policymakers, and future technology leaders from both countries with the goal of leading the global AI market. President Lee emphasized that the partnership is designed to foster joint research, technology development, and innovation across various AI applications, from healthcare and robotics to smart cities and fintech.
