Community Unites to Support Gaza with $2.4 Million Raised

From February 24 to April 6, an impressive $2.4 million was raised in Singapore for humanitarian aid in Gaza through the Aid for Gaza 2025 campaign. This initiative was part of the SG60 community fund-raising drive, organized alongside M³@Towns, a community platform that connects Malay/Muslim volunteers and professionals to serve local needs.

Purpose of the Funds

The generous contributions will be directed towards critical aid efforts in Gaza, focusing on:

  • Providing food to families facing shortages
  • Ensuring access to clean water in a region grappling with infrastructure damage
  • Delivering essential medical supplies and healthcare services
  • Supporting education for children and families affected by conflict

The goal is to alleviate suffering and rebuild the wellbeing of those impacted by ongoing crises in Gaza.

Partnerships Behind the Fundraiser

The fund-raiser was spearheaded by the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF), known for its humanitarian efforts, and held in close collaboration with global and regional partners:

  • United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), providing expertise in child protection and aid distribution
  • Egyptian Red Crescent, facilitating access and assistance across borders
  • Humanity Matters, a local humanitarian partner ensuring effective aid delivery on the ground

Together, these organizations form a trusted network to maximize the impact of the donations.
