Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister to Announce $4 Billion Investments in Maharashtra During India Visit


High-Level Visit Strengthens India-Singapore Ties

Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, accompanied by Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow, is currently visiting Mumbai as part of a key diplomatic and economic mission. During this visit, Gan Kim Yong toured the PSA port in Navi Mumbai and is scheduled to visit the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) and the Capital Land data centre in Thane.

Major Investment Boost for Maharashtra

Later today, Gan Kim Yong is expected to announce investments exceeding $4 billion in four major projects across Maharashtra, a crucial state in western India. These investments aim to enhance infrastructure, technology, and trade connectivity between Singapore and India, further deepening the bilateral partnership.
